Why is AMIR KHAN THE GREAT so hated?

• I really don't know why Amir Khan is so hated? Is it because he is Pakistani and the thick racists dislike him? Is it because people generally think he is a poor boxer? I really don't get it. I've watched Khan for years and he is one of the greatest out there. He nocks his opponents out in amazing style. He is powerfull and has very fast hand speed. He also has good movement and is very brave. Ok so he lost to a Prescott fluke punch but that can happen in boxing, and it has onlt happened once in Khans whole career! He outclassed Barrera in their fight and the domination was embarrasing for Barrera a great fighter himself! Even though Khan won that fight in style you could here the disgracefull boo boys trying to put Amir down. It seems he can do nothing right, even now after he has just been matched to fight Kotelnik in a world title matchup people are criticising him?Unbeleivable!I think this treatment of Khan is a disgrace and thugs should not be allowed to treat Khan this way!

  I think Khan has the potential to be a great fighter, but he's not quite there yet. Barrera is past it, I'm afraid. Some people hate him because he's Asian; but I'd ignore dickheads like that because they are in the minority and chat shit.

  If it is racists who slag Khan of, then how other coloured boxers(and THERE ARE MANY OF THEM ABOUT) are not hated as much as Khan? Naseem Hamed for one was adored by people! I think you are wrong Dan, people hate Khan because he is an overhyped boxer who talks a load of crap and tries to big himself up when all he does is fight bums! His one respectable fight was when he got KO'D by Prescott within a few seconds. The Barrera fight was a joke as Barerra is way past his prime and fought that fight with one eye, which is obviously a huge handicap in boxing. Amir Khan is boring, arrogant and just an average boxer.He has quick movement but he has a useless defence and a glass jaw that shatters under any sought of pressure!

  He is massively overrated. People like you are too biased to see it, lucky punch from Prescott? earlier he'd hit him and made his legs wobble like mad, then knocked him down and did it again. How is that flukey? Khan dominates and looks powerful only because he fights bums. And don't get me started on Barrera, how hard is it to dominate someone with only one eye? Morons.

• Khan

  The Barerra fight was a joke - It should have been stopped in the first after the head clash and a re-match should have been arranged. Khan hasn't got a powerful punch and 99% of his "ko's" come as a result of him smothering his opponents and the ref stepping in. He fights bums and has sometimes struggled to look good against them - I mean how can anyone get floored by Willie Limond??? Apart from an over-the-hill Barerra the only other good opponent he had was Prescott and we all know what happened there!
  Amir thinks too much of himself and has been unfairly fast-tracked to the top of the sport when good proven fighters like Kevin Mitchell have to do things the hard way!
  I hate Khan and I really hope Kotelnik does a number on him............

• Amir Khan is useless.

  To be honest, for me it's a bit of both: it is partly because he is completely over-hyped and partly because he is a paki. I'd probably be able to chin him with my eyes closed and one leg strapped to my back, whilst skateboarding with the other one.
