Looking to work in Australia

Am an Indian citizen, got experince of 5 years in Industry with Bachelors degree in civil engineering and i got a good experience working with MNC companies. But i m looking for career change so i was looking for job in Australia to develop my career and future for my family.. but its really difficult to job.. no compan is coming forward to hire from india. every one ask me about work permit.. but it has become a very tough to me.. can you advice me how to approach for Australian government to get individual PR approval for 6 months or 1year and then i can show sponsor after i get job in Australia by searching in Australia by visiting throught PR permit.or you please advice me your idea on this.
