Work Permit holder lost job. Need help.

• Hi,
  
  I am a work permit holder and just got fired by my employer. The employer will inform the Workpermit UK about the termination of the employment.
  
  My employer asked me the questions so that they can fill in the 'Notification of Premature End of Employment'.
  
  'Does the person intend to leave the UK?'
  
  'To the best of your knowledge in what capacity does the person intend to stay in the UK?
  
  My intention is staying here looking for other jobs.

  Option 1:
  
  Can I answer 'no' and tell them the reason that I want to look for other jobs? How long the home office will allow me to stay for what visa status for this answer?
  
  
  Option 2:
  
  I have got my professional exam prebooked for this November and surely I will sit for my exam. If I tell them I will sit for exam this November, then how long the home office will allow me to stay for what visa status?

  Another question, my employment with current employer will end at 31 September. So before that date am I still a workpermit holder, and if successfully find a job then the new employer can still apply the workpermit for me in business-tier 1 without advertising?

• I lost my job as a work permit holder.

  I gave a call to Home Office couple of times and asked them my rights.Web site does not explain anything.I checked with couple of lawyers.They told me that you have to get a job and apply within the 28 days after the company terminated your employment.In this 28 days application has to be made.If it is made on time, you have a chance to get a new work permit and you can apply for leave to remain.
  
  I gave a call to Home Office couple of times as well but they do not know anything about it or they do not want to share the information.If you can not find a job in 28 days do keep your new application forms,emails etc on side just in case if they ask.One of the person in Home Office made that suggestion to me so maybe Home Office might understand your situation and give you another chance to apply.Bur have your evidences ready.
  
  It is so difficult to get a job in here but let us hope that things will be alright soon.
