driving licence

• hi all,
  does anybody know what it takes to get a driving licence for motorcycle in greece. I already have DL for car.
  I have heard that you basically can buy one.

• Getting driving license

  Hi all,
  Could anyone tell me there is possibility to have holiday in Greece and make a Road Test to get driving license there. I have already attended the Road Test in Germany but failed. I have to wait 2 weeks until the next time, but at that time I am in Greece for holiday. I'd like to know whether I can attend the Road Test during the time I am there. Pls give me information if possible.

  We live in Greece and it's not very easy to get your drivers license. Non-EU citizens need to be at least 6 months in Greece, before they are allowed to take driving lessons! (you need a permit from the police)
  Before my wife wanted a drivers license for a 50 cc. First you pay 90 euro and get your eyes tested at an eye specialist and an examination (incl. an x-ray) at a pathologist. They stamp your payment form and with this form the traffic police will set a date for your theory examen. Unfortunately this exam was in the Greek language..... She can try again next month; maybe Athens will send them an English test (or maybe not)

  For inmigrants you need to take your residence permit and wait 6 months, or 3 months ir you´re from the european union.
  
  I got some news about the english exam but I couldn't find a book in english so it's gonna be better for me to pass it in greek.

  I need to take the multiple choice test for my driver's license (car) - and I am wondering, are there books now to study from in Eng? I would like to do the test in Eng, but do I go to any driving school and ask for a book in Eng? Is there a dept of motor vehicles that I should go to instead for information?

  Can get you motorcycle/truck/car licence.
  
  it takes 4-7 weeks and at the end you got Polish/German driving licence, which you can exchange for UK's one...
  
  it's hassle free, the system works good, have helped out many people already who were struggling to pass their test or had to clear points.
