Amsterdam's red light disctrict

• I booked a hotel in Amsterdam's red light district. I found this just few hours ago. What would you advise me to do.
  
  I am a US girl, and I am travelling alone.
  
  I'm leaving to the netherland begining of July.

  There are some great hotels in the red light district and unless you rent by the hour you will be save.
