work visa

• I'm a U.S. citizen planning on coming to Austria for several months, and my main purpose for coming is to learn the language. I want to be able to work when I am there to pay the bills and to get experience. Do I have to have an employer lined up before I can get a visa? Do they have to fill out paperwork? Can I even get a job?
