settlement\marriage visa

• Hi i'm a british national living in london waiting for my moroccan fiancee to join me so that we can register our marriage at my local registry office. we have acquired a settlement\marriage visa which i assumed would allow us to do this but now I'm reading that she would also need a certificate of approval. is there someone here who could shed some light on this for me please, do we need a certificate of approval? if so is she eligible to apply for 1? on the UK border agency website it says only visas over 6 months may apply for a COA but my fiancees visa is only for 6 months so can she still apply for a COA if we needed to complete our marriage registry? please any help would be greatly appreciated.
