Dependant visa for Post Study Work Visa

• Hi,
  My husband has studied in UK and is now working on post study work visa since Jan 2009.
  
  I was working in UK from Dec 2008 till June 2009 on General Tier 1 visa.
  
  I have a bank account in UK bank with sufficient balance for last 6 months whereas my husband doesnt have enough balance to sponsor me for last 6 months.
  
  Now, i need to apply for my dependant visa on that of his.
  
  Can someone please let me know if I can produce my UK bank statements for the same?
  Also, we have a joint account since past 3 months which has sufficient balance. Will thaht help?
