Japanese moving from Germany to Spain

• Hi!
  
  we are a German-Japanese couple and we have recently moved from Germany to Spain. I already have my residency in Spain, but my Japanese girlfriend officially still lives in Berlin (where she has a residence permit).
  
  We will get married probably in January 2006 and we hope that she can get residency in Spain once we have the marriage certificate. Since we have a business in Spain, she already has a NIE.
  
  I realize this situation is a bit unusual, but maybe somebody knows if there is anything else we should do now. I believe, since she is already a legal resident of Germany, thus the Schengen area, she doesn't need a visa, does she?
