Housing in the Nederlands

• Although it is not very easy to find a place to live in Amsterdam, there are some possibilities to rent a room or apartment. Renting temporarily is also very common, especially during the summer period.
  
  First you can rent a place through an agency. This option can be quite expensive, because they often ask one month rent as a fee and one or two months rent deposit.
  
  You can also rent a place without using an agency. On Internet there are different housing sites were you can post an ad or react on placed ads. Try the following housing sites:

  And last but not least: Tell everybody that you are looking for a place to live. This might even be the best option of all.
