Driving license

• Has anyone had any experience with self-studying for the French drivers license? My license is not exchangeable so I need to take my driving test in France. Our local driving school in Le Lavandou only have evening classes which is impossible for me as I have a baby. I am hoping to study at home in my own time, then go in to the school to do the written test and the driving practicals.
