Do you get along with English in Poland?

• I planned to go to Poland for a while, and wondered if it's necessary to have a conversational level of Polish, or can you get along with English only? Does anybody have any experience?

  Well, I suppose you could easily get along with English in Warsaw (Polish capital) Krakow or Wroclaw. But I'm afraid that should you go somwhere else, you will encounter serious problems (in that case try to avoid the outskirts of a city you're in and good luck :P)
