germany does too suck

• I am an American who has lived in Germany for over 20 years. The only reason I stay is because of my 2 kids who were born here and unfortunately feel too much at home here to leave. My biggest complaints aren't about nazis or any of that stuff, but every day things like rudeness and always having to be right about everything. I get the feeling here that people hate each other. I have never experienced so much unfriendliness in my life. Yeah sure if you are friends with someone (which really takes a loooong time to become) you are treated really great. But people on the street and in shops are so unfriendly to each other. Just try striking up a conversation with the lady at the check out counter. You get a look like what the hell do you want you idiot. Or simply smiling at someone you don't know. I hate it here.
