• ..you learned turkish from your 'friends' = you are too embarrased to admit you are 'deutsche, tuekisher abstammung'. If your turkish family had gone to almost any New World country you would not have been forced to wait 2 generations for a passport, and been forced to become 'gastarbeiter' which along with 'blitzkrieg' and 'schadenfreude' is the most known German word in the English language. It was only the EU which forced the German government to change this but even now you have to chose between 2 passports. In most New World countries and the UK, you can have 2 passports!
